Our standard diagnostic service call is $119. The senior diagnostic service call is $60; please request senior pricing when booking. The $119 flat-rate diagnostic covers the booked issue during that visit, including regular, after-hours and emergency visits. There is no hourly diagnostic charge, regardless of how long the on-site diagnosis takes. Seniors receive priority scheduling where practical, after urgent safety calls and subject to location and technician availability. Diagnosis only. Repairs are quoted separately before you approve the work. The fee covers diagnosis for that visit; parts and approved repairs are separate.
02How much will a new system cost to install?+

03Do heat pumps work in Lower Mainland winters?+
Yes. Properly selected cold-climate and standard heat pump systems can perform very well in the Lower Mainland. The right equipment and sizing depend on the home and existing heating system.
04Can a heat pump replace my furnace?+
In many homes it can, while other homes benefit from a dual-fuel or backup arrangement. We assess the building and explain the practical options.
05Are heat pump rebates available?+
Programs change regularly and eligibility depends on the home, equipment and application timing. Our rebate page links directly to the current official program administrators.
06How often should a heat pump be serviced?+
Annual professional maintenance is a useful baseline, with filters checked more frequently according to the manufacturer and household conditions.
07What affects heat-pump installation cost?+
System type, capacity, electrical work, ductwork, line-set routing, outdoor-unit placement, controls and removal of existing equipment all affect project scope. A site assessment is needed for a useful estimate.
08What is the difference between ducted and ductless heat pumps?+
Ducted systems distribute air through ductwork. Ductless systems use one or more indoor heads and can be useful where ducts are absent or zoning is a priority.
09Will a heat pump cool my home in summer?+
Yes. A reversible heat pump provides both heating and air conditioning when it is properly designed and installed.
10What should I prepare before a heat-pump estimate?+
