Our standard diagnostic service call is $119. The senior diagnostic service call is $60; please request senior pricing when booking. The $119 flat-rate diagnostic covers the booked issue during that visit, including regular, after-hours and emergency visits. There is no hourly diagnostic charge, regardless of how long the on-site diagnosis takes. Seniors receive priority scheduling where practical, after urgent safety calls and subject to location and technician availability. Diagnosis only. Repairs are quoted separately before you approve the work. The fee covers diagnosis for that visit; parts and approved repairs are separate.
02How much will a new system cost to install?+

03How long does a hot water tank last?+
Service life varies with equipment, water quality, maintenance and installation. Leaks, corrosion and declining capacity are important warning signs.
04Can a leaking tank be repaired?+
A leaking fitting or valve may be repairable. Leakage from the tank body typically means replacement is required.
05What size water heater do I need?+
Household size, peak usage, recovery rate and available energy source all matter. We size the replacement for actual demand.
06Can I switch from a tank to tankless?+
Often yes, but gas capacity, venting, condensate, electrical power and hot-water demand must be assessed first.
07What affects hot-water-tank replacement cost?+
Fuel type, capacity, venting, access, drainage, valves, seismic restraint and code-related changes can affect the installation.
08Why is water collecting near my tank?+
The tank, relief valve, drain valve, fittings or nearby plumbing may be leaking. Active leakage should be assessed promptly to limit property damage.
09Should I choose a gas or electric water heater?+
Existing utilities, household demand, recovery rate, installation cost and long-term energy plans all matter. The best option is not the same for every home.
10Can I increase hot-water capacity without a larger tank?+
Sometimes. Temperature controls, mixing strategies, recovery rate or a different heating system may help, but the cause of the shortage should be confirmed first.
