Hydronic comfort
Boiler Repair & Installation
Boiler systems can deliver quiet, even warmth through radiators, baseboards or in-floor heating. Because the boiler is only one part of a hydronic system, diagnosis must also consider pumps, zones, controls, pressure and distribution.

Performance starts before
the system turns on.
Whole-system diagnosis
We consider circulation, controls and heat distributionβnot only the boiler cabinet.
Quiet, even heating
Balanced hydronic systems can deliver stable comfort without forced-air drafts.
Upgrade with context
Replacement recommendations account for emitters, loads, venting and domestic hot-water needs.
When to call
Changes worth checking.
Small changes in sound, comfort, energy use or operation can be useful early warnings. If anything appears unsafe, turn the equipment off and call.

Boilers FAQ
Questions homeowners ask.
These answers provide a useful starting point. Equipment and homes still need individual assessment.
Browse all HVAC questions β01How much is a diagnostic service call?+
Our standard diagnostic service call is $119. The senior diagnostic service call is $60; please request senior pricing when booking. The $119 flat-rate diagnostic covers the booked issue during that visit, including regular, after-hours and emergency visits. There is no hourly diagnostic charge, regardless of how long the on-site diagnosis takes. Seniors receive priority scheduling where practical, after urgent safety calls and subject to location and technician availability. Diagnosis only. Repairs are quoted separately before you approve the work. The fee covers diagnosis for that visit; parts and approved repairs are separate.
02How much will a new system cost to install?+
Review our published installed-price ranges, then request a free installation estimate tailored to your home and budget. Equipment, sizing and installation requirements determine your quote. We discuss suitable options and explain the proposed work before you decide.
03Why is one heating zone not working?+
A zone valve, thermostat, pump, air lock, control or distribution issue may be responsible. The system needs to be tested as a whole.
04How often should a boiler be serviced?+
Annual inspection and maintenance are a practical baseline for most residential boilers.
05Can an older boiler be replaced with a high-efficiency model?+
Often yes, but venting, return-water temperatures, emitters, drainage and controls must be considered in the design.
06Do you work on in-floor heating?+
We can assess boiler and hydronic components serving in-floor systems. Contact us with details about the equipment and problem.
07What affects boiler replacement cost?+
Heating load, venting, pumps, zones, controls, emitters, domestic hot-water integration and the condition of the existing piping all influence scope.
08Why does my boiler pressure keep dropping?+
Leaks, expansion-tank problems, relief-valve discharge or fill-system issues may be responsible. Repeated pressure loss needs diagnosis.
09Can a boiler also heat domestic water?+
Some systems use an indirect tank or combi boiler for both space heating and domestic hot water. The design must account for both loads.
10Can old radiators work with a new boiler?+
Often they can, but water temperature, heat output, flow, controls and system cleanliness should be considered before replacement.
